1. chicken rib (literal)

   服务员端出一盘鸡肋，大家笑了。 fúwùyuán duānchū yīpán jīlèi dàjiā xiào le — The waiter brought out a plate of chicken ribs and everyone laughed.

2. something of little value or interest; a useless scrap

   这份旧合同像鸡肋，既没用又舍不得扔。 zhèfèn jiù hétóng xiàng jīlèi jì méiyòng yòu shěbùdé rēng — This old contract is like a chicken rib: useless yet hard to discard.

3. something of dubious worth that one is reluctant to give up

   公司保留这个项目只是鸡肋，消耗资源但回报甚微。 gōngsī bǎoliú zhège xiàngmù zhǐshì jīlèi xiāohào zīyuán dàn huíbào shènwēi — The company keeps the project only as a chicken rib — it consumes resources but yields little return.

4. to be physically weak; to feel feeble

   昨晚没睡好，他今天整个人很鸡肋。 zuówǎn méi shuì hǎo tā jīntiān zhěnggè rén hěn jīlèi — He didn't sleep well last night; he's feeling very weak today.
