1. to transport (goods) by lighter; to lighter

   货物需要驳运到大船上。 huòwù xūyào bóyùn dào dà chuánshàng — The cargo needs to be lightered onto the big ship.

2. lighter (a flat-bottomed barge or small boat used to transfer goods to/from larger ships)

   港口里有几只驳运在卸货。 gǎngkǒu lǐ yǒu jǐzhī bóyùn zài xièhuò — There are several lighters unloading at the port.
