1. gluttonous; likes to eat a lot

   他很馋，看到好吃的就忍不住。 tā hěn chán kàndào hǎochī de jiù rěnbúzhù — He's gluttonous; he can't resist when he sees tasty food.

2. greedy (wanting others' things); desirous

   别馋别人的东西，要有自己的原则。 bié chán biérén de dōngxī yào yǒu zìjǐ de yuánzé — Don't be greedy for other people's things; have your own principles.

3. to have a craving (usually for food); to long for

   他馋那家店的炸鸡，天天想去吃。 tā chán nàjiā diàn de zhàjī tiāntiān xiǎngqù chī — He craves the fried chicken from that shop and wants to eat it every day.
