飞转 — fēizhuǎn

1. to spin rapidly; to whirl

   风把风车叶片吹得飞转。 fēng bǎ fēngchē yèpiàn chuī dé fēizhuàn — The wind sent the windmill's blades spinning rapidly.

2. to whirl around; to rotate quickly (often describing objects or people turning)

   舞者在舞台中央连续几圈飞转，引来阵阵掌声。 wǔzhě zài wǔtái zhōngyāng liánxù jǐquān fēizhuàn yǐnlái zhènzhèn zhǎngshēng — The dancer spun around rapidly several times center stage, drawing applause.

3. (of time) to fly by; to pass very quickly

   假期总是在不知不觉中飞转而过。 jiàqī zǒngshì zài bùzhībùjué zhōng fēizhuàn érguò — The holiday always seems to fly by before you know it.
