   街上都有这件事的风声。 jiēshàng dōu yǒu zhèjiàn shì de fēngshēng — There are rumors about this matter all over town.

3. news; information; talk

   我们还没听到什么确切的风声。 wǒmen hái méi tīngdào shénme quèqiè de fēngshēng — We haven't heard any definite news yet.

4. reputation (literary/archaic use)

   他在行业里有不错的风声。 tā zài hángyè lǐ yǒu bùcuò de fēngshēng — He has a good reputation in the industry.
