   大风把小船颠覆了。 dàfēng bǎ xiǎochuán diānfù le — The strong wind capsized the small boat.

2. to overturn; to subvert (a government, system, order); to undermine

   他们被控密谋颠覆国家政权。 tāmen bèikòng mìmóu diānfù guójiā zhèngquán — They were accused of plotting to subvert state power.
