题诗 — tíshī

1. to inscribe a poem (often composed on the spot) on a painting, fan, ceramic bowl, etc.; to write a dedicatory or decorative poem as calligraphy

   他在画上题诗。 tā zài huà shàng tíshī — He inscribed a poem on the painting.

2. an inscribed poem (the poem written as an inscription)

   这首题诗很有名。 zhè shǒu tíshī hěn yǒumíng — This inscribed poem is famous.
