1. on the way; while out doing something else; conveniently (used when a trip is already planned and you can do something for someone or pick something up)

   我顺路去超市，顺便帮你买点东西。 wǒ shùnlùqù chāoshì shùnbiàn bāng nǐ mǎidiǎn dōngxī — I'm going to the supermarket on the way; I'll buy a few things for you.
