   他把自己的青年时期写进了日记。 tā bǎ zìjǐ de qīngnián shíqī xiějìn le rìjì — He wrote his years of youth into his diary.

   这家公司主要雇佣青年员工。 zhèjiā gōngsī zhǔyào gùyōng qīngnián yuángōng — This company mainly hires young employees.

3. the young (as a social group)

   政府应更多关注青年教育与就业问题。 zhèngfǔ yīng gèngduō guānzhù qīngnián jiàoyù yǔ jiùyè wèntí — The government should pay more attention to youth education and employment issues.
