1. tyranny; despotic rule; rule by might; (historical) the Way of the Hegemon (霸王之道)

   这个国家实行霸道统治。 zhège guójiā shíxíng bàdào tǒngzhì — The country practices tyrannical rule.

2. overbearing; domineering; bossy

   他性格很霸道，总喜欢命令别人。 tā xìnggé hěn bàdào zǒng xǐhuān mìnglìng biérén — He is very overbearing and always likes to order others around.

3. (of liquor, medicine, etc.) strong; potent

   这种药效力很霸道，服用需谨慎。 zhèzhǒng yào xiàolì hěn bàdào fúyòng xūjǐnshèn — This medicine is very potent; take it with caution.
