1. Shuangjiang (Frost Descends), the 18th solar term of the 24 solar terms; roughly late October to early November (around Oct 23–Nov 6).

   霜降时节，天气转凉，农民开始忙着收割晚稻。 shuāngjiàng shíjié tiānqì zhuǎn liáng nóngmín kāishǐ máng zhe shōugē wǎndào — During Shuangjiang, the weather turns colder and farmers begin busying themselves harvesting the late-season rice.
