   面包发霉了，别吃了。 miànbāo fāméi le bié chī le — The bread has gone moldy, don't eat it.

2. to become moldy; to develop mildew

   衣服放太久就会霉。 yīfú fàng tàijiǔ jiù huì méi — If clothes are left too long they will get moldy.
