陪送 — péisòng

1. dowry; property given to the bridegroom's family at marriage

   她的陪送包括土地和首饰。 tā de péisòng bāokuò tǔdì hé shǒushì — Her dowry included land and jewelry.

2. to give as a dowry; to provide as marriage portion

   父母决定把一些房产陪送给女儿。 fùmǔ juédìng bǎ yīxiē fángchǎn péi sònggěi nǚér — The parents decided to give some property as their daughter's dowry.

3. to accompany someone (often to see them off)

   我可以陪送你到火车站。 wǒ kěyǐ péisòng nǐ dào huǒchēzhàn — I can accompany you to the train station.
