1. to add; to append

   请把这份材料附在报告后面。 qǐng bǎ zhè fèn cái liào fù zài bào gào hòu miàn 。 — Please append these materials to the end of the report.

2. to attach (physically); to fasten

   他把名牌附在衣服上。 tā bǎ míng pái fù zài yī fú shàng 。 — He attached the name tag to the clothes.

3. to be close to; to be near; to adjoin

   这座房子附着一片小花园。 zhè zuò fáng zi fù zhuó yī piàn xiǎo huā yuán 。 — This house has a small garden attached to it.

4. to be attached (to something); to accompany

   合同附有详细条款。 hé tóng fù yǒu xiáng xì tiáo kuǎn 。 — The contract has detailed clauses attached.
