1. maiden; unmarried woman

   她虽已二十出头，仍是待字闺中的闺女。 tā suī yǐ èrshíchūtóu réng shì dàizìguīzhōng de guīnǚ — Although she is in her early twenties, she is still an unmarried maiden.

2. (colloquial) daughter (one's own)

   他有两个闺女，最大的上大学了。 tā yǒu liǎnggè guīnǚ zuìdà de shàng dàxué le — He has two daughters; the eldest is in university.
