1. to ask about; to inquire about (a person or matter)

   记者问及他的健康状况，他只是淡淡地回答了几句。 jìzhě wènjí tā de jiànkāngzhuàngkuàng tā zhǐshì dàndàndì huídá le jǐjù — When reporters asked about his health, he only gave a few brief replies.

2. to raise or mention (a topic) in conversation or questioning

   开会时没人敢问及那件敏感的事情。 kāihuì shí méirén gǎn wènjí nàjiàn mǐngǎn de shìqíng — At the meeting no one dared to bring up that sensitive matter.
