闪耀 — shǎnyào

1. to glint

   太阳在海面上闪耀。 tàiyáng zài hǎimiàn shàng shǎnyào — The sun glinted on the surface of the sea.

2. to glitter

   珠宝在灯光下闪耀。 zhūbǎo zài dēngguāng xià shǎnyào — The jewelry glittered under the lights.

3. to sparkle
