   推门的时候别绊到门槛。 tuīmén de shíhòu bié bàn dào ménkǎn — Be careful not to trip on the threshold when you push the door.

2. fig. a knack, trick, or scheme (esp. to get something cheaper or gain an advantage)

   他总是有办法找门槛，买到更便宜的票。 tā zǒngshì yǒu bànfǎ zhǎo ménkǎn mǎidào gèng piányi de piào — He always finds tricks to buy cheaper tickets.
