2. to hammer; to beat into shape

   匠人用锤把铁块敲成所需的形状。 jiàngrén yòng chuí bǎ tiěkuài qiāo chéng suǒxū de xíngzhuàng — The craftsman hammered the piece of iron into the desired shape.
