错车 — cuòchē

1. to give right of way to another vehicle; to pull over so another vehicle can pass

   前面有车要通过，我们在路边错车。 qiánmiàn yǒu chē yào tōngguò wǒmen zài lùbiān cuòchē — There is a vehicle coming through ahead, so we pulled over to let it pass.

2. the wrong bus (colloquial usage: boarded the wrong vehicle)

   我上错车了，发现这是去市区相反方向的车。 wǒ shàng cuòchē le fāxiàn zhè shì qù shìqū xiāngfǎn fāngxiàng de chē — I got on the wrong bus; I realized this one goes in the opposite direction to the city.
