   他买了那么些东西，真让人吃惊。 tā mǎi le nàmexiē dōngxī zhēnràngrén chījīng — He bought that many things; it's really surprising.

2. so; in that way (used to indicate extent or manner)

   别说那么些话，大家都听着呢。 biéshuō nàmexiē huà dàjiā dōu tīng zhe ne — Don't say such things; everyone is listening.
