1. speed; rate; velocity (how fast something moves or happens)

   汽车在高速公路上以很高的速度行驶。 qìchē zài gāosùgōnglù shàng yǐ hěn gāo de sùdù xíngshǐ — The car was traveling at a very high speed on the highway.

2. tempo (in music); the speed at which a piece is performed

   这首曲子的速度比原版要慢一些。 zhè shǒu qǔzi de sùdù bǐ yuánbǎn yào màn yīxiē — The tempo of this piece is a bit slower than the original.
