通知单 — tōngzhīdān

1. notification; notice (a written notice, e.g. from a school or organization)

   学校发了通知单给家长。 xuéxiào fā le tōngzhīdān gěi jiāzhǎng — The school sent a notification to the parents.

2. ticket (e.g. a parking or traffic ticket)

   他收到了一张停车通知单。 tā shōudào le yīzhāng tíngchē tōngzhīdān — He received a parking ticket.

3. receipt; slip (a document used as proof of payment or a record)

   请把通知单当作收据保存好。 qǐng bǎ tōngzhīdān dàngzuò shōujù bǎocún hǎo — Please keep the slip as a receipt.
