追记 — zhuījì

1. to award (someone) posthumously

   他被追记为烈士。 tā bèi zhuījì wèi lièshì — He was posthumously honored as a martyr.

2. to write down afterwards; to add a note after the fact

   她在日记末尾追记了那件事。 tā zài rìjì mòwěi zhuījì le nàjiànshì — She added that event afterwards at the end of her diary.

3. a retrospective account; an afterword or supplementary note

   这本书是作者对童年的追记。 zhè běnshū shì zuòzhě duì tóngnián de zhuījì — This book is the author's retrospective account of his childhood.
