1. to recover (stolen property)

   警方追缴了被盗的文物。 jǐngfāng zhuījiǎo le bèidào de wénwù — The police recovered the stolen cultural relics.

2. to pursue and force someone to give back the spoils (e.g., illicit gains)

   公司要求追缴高管挪用的资金。 gōngsī yāoqiú zhuījiǎo gāo guǎn nuóyòng de zījīn — The company demanded the recovery of funds misappropriated by the executive.
