1. be slow to do something; delay doing something; not (do) until much later

   他迟迟没有回复我的邮件。 tā chíchí méiyǒu huífù wǒ de yóujiàn — He has still not replied to my email.

2. slow (moving or progressing); sluggish

   火车迟迟不来，站台上的人越来越不耐烦。 huǒchē chíchí bùlái zhàntái shàng de rén yuèláiyuè bùnàifán — The train is slow to arrive, and people on the platform are getting more impatient.
