轻装 — qīngzhuāng

1. lightly equipped; wearing or carrying little baggage; travel light

   我们决定轻装出发，只带最必要的东西。 wǒmen juédìng qīngzhuāng chūfā zhǐ dài zuì bìyào de dōngxī — We decided to set off lightly equipped, taking only the essentials.

2. to lighten one's load; to remove heavy equipment or baggage

   他在山脚下把行李轻装了一下，继续向山顶攀登。 tā zài shānjiǎoxià bǎ xínglǐ qīngzhuāng le yīxià jìxù xiàng shāndǐng pāndēng — He lightened his luggage at the foot of the mountain and continued the climb to the summit.
