转弯子 — zhuǎnwānzi

1. a turn; the act of turning (e.g., when driving or walking); a bend in the road

   前面有个急转弯子，开慢点儿。 qiánmiàn yǒu gè jízhuǎnwān zi kāi màndiǎnér — There's a sharp turn ahead; drive slowly.

2. a feint, trick or ruse; a tactical maneuver intended to deceive or evade

   他耍了个转弯子，结果把对手骗过去了。 tā shuǎ le gè zhuǎnwānzi jiéguǒ bǎ duìshǒu piàn guòqù le — He used a feint and ended up tricking his opponent.
