转向 — zhuǎnxiàng

1. to change direction; (fig.) to change one's stance

   汽车在十字路口突然转向，避免了撞车。 qìchē zài shízìlùkǒu tūránzhuǎnxiàng bìmiǎn le zhuàngchē — The car suddenly changed direction at the intersection, avoiding a collision.

转向 — zhuànxiàng

1. to get lost; to lose one's way

   这条小路岔多，走着走着就转向，找不到出路了。 zhètiáo xiǎolù chà duō zǒu zhe zǒu zhe jiù zhuǎnxiàng zhǎo búdào chūlù le — This path has many forks; after walking a while we lost our way and couldn't find an exit.
