躬 — gōng

1. body (of a human, esp. the torso)

   他的躬受了重伤。 tā de gōng shòu le zhòngshāng — His body (torso) was seriously injured.

2. to bow (literary; bound form)

   臣躬身谢罪，请陛下宽恕。 chén gōngshēn xièzuì qǐng bìxià kuānshù — I bow and beg forgiveness; please pardon me, Your Majesty.

3. oneself; personally (literary)

   吾躬亲自前往。 wú gōng qīnzì qiánwǎng — I personally went there.
