跑马 — pǎomǎ

1. horse race

   今天城里有跑马比赛。 jīntiān chénglǐ yǒu pǎomǎ bǐsài — There is a horse race in town today.

2. to ride a horse at a fast pace

   他们在草地上跑马练习速度。 tāmen zài cǎodìshàng pǎomǎ liànxí sùdù — They rode their horses on the field to practice speed.

3. (dialect) wet dream

   他昨晚做了个跑马的梦，第二天很尴尬。 tā zuówǎn zuò le gè pǎomǎ de mèng dìèrtiān hěn gāngà — He had a wet dream last night and felt embarrassed the next day.
