跑单帮 — pǎodānbāng

1. to operate independently as a seller or broker; take orders and sell on one's own without belonging to an agency or team

   他最近开始跑单帮，自己接活赚钱。 tā zuìjìn kāishǐ pǎodānbāng zìjǐ jiēhuó zhuànqián — He recently started operating independently, taking orders himself to earn money.

2. a person who sells or brokers goods/services independently (an itinerant peddler or freelance broker)

   那家夜市里有很多跑单帮在卖小吃和衣物。 nàjiā yèshì lǐ yǒu hěnduō pǎodānbāng zài mài xiǎochī hé yīwù — There are many itinerant sellers in that night market selling snacks and clothes.
