1. foot; leg (bound form, used in compounds)

   运动员的足部受了伤，不能比赛。 yùndòngyuán de zúbù shòuleshāng bùnéng bǐsài — The athlete's foot was injured and cannot compete.

2. sufficient; ample; enough

   我们的准备已足以应付突发情况。 wǒmen de zhǔnbèi yǐ zúyǐ yìngfù tūfā qíngkuàng — Our preparations are sufficient to handle emergencies.

3. fully; as much as; to the extent of (used in compounds/phrases)

   证据足以证明他的清白。 zhèngjù zúyǐ zhèngmíng tā de qīngbái — The evidence is enough to prove his innocence.

1. excessive; more than enough (literary/formal)

   这批物资已足，无需再购。 zhè pī wùzī yǐ zú wúxū zài gòu — This batch of supplies is more than enough; there is no need to purchase more.
