1. to record a transaction in the accounts; to book (an item in the ledger)

   会计把这笔费用走账到管理费用里。 kuàijì bǎ zhèbǐ fèiyòng zǒuzhàng dào guǎnlǐfèiyòng lǐ — The accountant booked this expense under administrative expenses.

2. to transfer/settle money through the books (often implying routing payment through an account rather than paying in cash)

   他要求把款项走账到公司账户，再转给供应商。 tā yāoqiú bǎ kuǎnxiàng zǒuzhàng dào gōngsī zhànghù zài zhuǎngěi gōngyìngshāng — He asked that the funds be routed through the company account and then forwarded to the supplier.
