   学费很贵。 xuéfèi hěnguì — Tuition fees are expensive.

3. wasteful; consuming (used with an object, e.g. '费水' uses a lot of water)

   这个喷头很费水。 zhège pēntóu hěn fèi shuǐ — This shower head wastes a lot of water.
