2. blame; fault (someone or something being at fault)

   事故的责任还在调查中，暂不能下结论。 shìgù de zérèn hái zài diàochá zhōng zàn bùnéng xiàjiélùn — The blame for the accident is still under investigation; no conclusion yet.
