1. to dispatch; to schedule; to manage (allocation of vehicles, staff, resources)

   交通指挥中心负责调度所有救护车。 jiāotōngzhǐhuī zhōngxīn fùzé diàodù suǒyǒu jiùhùchē — The traffic control center is responsible for dispatching all ambulances.

2. dispatcher; scheduler (person or system that allocates and assigns resources)

   车队的调度每天早上八点开会安排任务。 chēduì de diàodù měitiān zǎoshàng bādiǎn kāihuì ānpái rènwù — The fleet's dispatcher meets every morning at eight to assign tasks.
