   他做事很认真，老板很信任他。 tā zuòshì hěn rènzhēn lǎobǎn hěn xìnrèn tā — He is very conscientious in his work; the boss trusts him a lot.

2. to take (something) seriously; to treat (something) with care or attention; to take to heart

   请认真对待这次面试，别迟到。 qǐng rènzhēnduìdài zhècì miànshì bié chídào — Please take this interview seriously; don't be late.
