2. to consider; to think over (weigh options or consequences)

   这件事你得好好计算一下再决定。 zhèjiàn shì nǐ dé hǎohǎo jìsuàn yīxià zài juédìng — You should think this over carefully before deciding.

3. to plot; to scheme (plan with a hidden or dishonest purpose)

   他在背后计算着如何取代老板的位置。 tā zài bèihòu jìsuàn zhe rúhé qǔdài lǎobǎn de wèizhì — He is scheming behind the scenes to replace the boss.
