1. adornment; clothing; dress; costume

   她今天的西装很合身。 tā jīntiān de xīzhuāng hěn héshēn — Her suit today fits very well.

2. to adorn; to dress; to decorate

   她把房间装得很温馨。 tā bǎ fángjiān zhuāngdé hěn wēnxīn — She decorated the room to be very cozy.

3. costume (of an actor)

   演员换好装上台了。 yǎnyuán huàn hǎo zhuāng shàngtái le — The actor changed into costume and went on stage.

4. to play a role; to pretend

   他在会议上装懂，结果被问住了。 tā zài huìyì shàng zhuāngdǒng jiéguǒ bèi wènzhù le — He pretended to understand at the meeting and was stumped by questions.

5. to install; to fix (equipment)

   师傅下午来给我们装空调。 shīfù xiàwǔ lái gěi wǒmen zhuāng kōngtiáo — The technician will come this afternoon to install our air conditioner.

6. to wrap; to load; to pack (things into a container)

   司机把行李都装上车了。 sījī bǎ xínglǐ dōu zhuāng shàngchē le — The driver loaded all the luggage onto the car.
