1. to arrive; to reach (a place or time)

   从北京至上海，坐高铁只需四个小时。 cóng běijīng zhì shànghǎi zuò gāotiě zhǐ xū sìgè xiǎoshí — From Beijing to Shanghai, it takes only four hours by high-speed rail.

2. most; extremely; to the highest degree (used in literary/formal contexts)

   此事至关重要。 cǐshì zhìguānzhòngyào — This matter is of paramount importance.

3. to; until; up to (indicating limit in place, time, extent)

   校门从早上八点至晚上十点开放。 xiàomén cóng zǎoshàng bādiǎn zhì wǎnshàng shídiǎn kāifàng — The school gates are open from 8 AM to 10 PM.
