肉 — ròu

1. meat; flesh (animal)

   我妈妈做的肉很好吃。 wǒ māmā zuò de ròu hěn hǎochī — The meat my mom cooks is very delicious.

2. flesh; the soft pulp of fruit

   这个桃子的肉很甜。 zhège táozi de ròu hěntián — The flesh of this peach is very sweet.

3. (coll.) (of a fruit) squashy; soft and easily crushed

   这些香蕉有点儿肉，别碰了会烂的。 zhèxiē xiāngjiāo yǒudiǎnér ròu biépèng le huì làn de — These bananas are a bit squashy; don't touch them or they'll go mushy.

4. (coll.) (of a person) flabby; lacking firmness; irresolute

   他做事太肉，半天也决定不了。 tā zuòshì tài ròu bàntiān yě juédìng bùliǎo — He is too indecisive at work; he can't make a decision even after a long time.

5. Kangxi radical 130 (the character radical 'meat')

   「肝」「肺」都属肉部。 gān fèi dōu shǔ ròu bù — The characters for 'liver' and 'lung' both belong to the meat radical.
