1. plowing and weeding; farm work

   春天到了，田里的耕耘已经开始。 chūntiān dào le tiánlǐ de gēngyún yǐjīng kāishǐ — Spring has arrived, and the plowing and weeding in the fields have already begun.

2. to work or study diligently (fig.)

   他每天耕耘不辍，成绩稳步提高。 tā měitiān gēngyún bùchuò chéngjì wěnbù tígāo — He works diligently every day, and his results are steadily improving.
