1. to experience; to go through (an event or process)

   我在公司经历了很多困难。 wǒ zài gōngsī jīnglì le hěnduō kùnnán — I went through many difficulties at the company.

2. experience (knowledge or background gained from events)

   他有十年的工作经历。 tā yǒu shínián de gōngzuò jīnglì — He has ten years of work experience.
