终点 — zhōngdiǎn

1. the end; ending; end point of a process

   讨论会终于走到了终点。 tǎolùnhuì zhōngyú zǒudào le zhōngdiǎn — The discussion finally reached its end.

2. finishing line (in a race)

   选手冲过终点，观众爆发出热烈的掌声。 xuǎnshǒu chōngguò zhōngdiǎn guānzhòng bàofā chū rèliè de zhǎngshēng — The runner crossed the finish line, and the crowd erupted in applause.

3. destination; terminus (final stop)

   这趟列车的终点是北京站，请准备下车。 zhè tàng lièchē de zhōngdiǎn shì běijīngzhàn qǐng zhǔnbèi xiàchē — The terminus of this train is Beijing Station; please prepare to get off.
