糟蹋 — zāotà

1. to waste; to spoil; to ruin; to wreck

   不要把食物糟蹋了，还有很多人没吃饱。 búyào bǎ shíwù zāotà le háiyǒu hěnduō rén méi chībǎo — Don't waste the food; there are still many people who haven't eaten enough.

2. to insult; to humiliate

   他当众糟蹋我，让我很难堪。 tā dāngzhòng zāotà wǒ ràng wǒ hěn nánkān — He insulted me in public and made me feel ashamed.

3. to defile (a woman); to rape (offensive/violent sexual assault)

   在法律和道德上，糟蹋别人是不可原谅的罪行。 zài fǎlǜ hé dàodé shàng zāotà biérén shì bùkě yuánliàng de zuìxíng — Legally and morally, defiling or raping someone is an unforgivable crime.
