2. groundlessly; foolishly; to do something aimlessly or without reason (often used before verbs)

   你别瞎说，小心惹麻烦！ nǐ bié xiāshuō xiǎoxīn rěmáfán — Don't talk groundlessly — be careful or you'll cause trouble!
