眼光 — yǎnguāng

1. gaze; look (the way someone looks at something or someone)

   她用温柔的眼光看着孩子们玩耍。 tā yòng wēnróu de yǎnguāng kànzhe háizi men wánshuǎ — She watched the children play with a gentle gaze.

2. taste; judgment; ability to judge quality or value (insight, discernment)

   他在时尚方面很有眼光，挑的衣服总是很合适。 tā zài shíshàng fāngmiàn hěn yǒu yǎnguāng tiāo de yīfú zǒngshì hěn héshì — He has good taste in fashion; the clothes he chooses are always appropriate.

3. foresight; vision (ability to foresee or plan ahead)
