眼 — yǎn

1. eye; (CL: 隻|只[zhi1], 雙|双[shuang1])

   她有一双明亮的眼。 tā yǒu yīshuāng míngliàng de yǎn — She has a pair of bright eyes.

   她朝我看了一眼，没说话。 tā cháo wǒ kàn le yīyǎn méi shuōhuà — She gave me a glance and didn't say anything.

3. small hole

   她把线小心地穿过针的小眼。 tā bǎ xiàn xiǎoxīn dì chuānguò zhēn de xiǎoyǎn — She carefully threaded the line through the needle's small eye.
