   灰尘进了眼睛，把我暂时眯住了。 huīchén jìn le yǎnjīng bǎ wǒ zànshí mīzhù le — Dust got in my eyes and temporarily blinded me.

眯 — mí

1. to narrow one's eyes; to squint

   他眯着眼睛看远方。 tā mīzhuó yǎnjīng kàn yuǎnfāng — He squinted to look into the distance.

2. (dialect) to take a nap; to doze

   午饭后他常在沙发上眯一会儿。 wǔfàn hòu tā cháng zài shāfā shàng mī yīhuìer — After lunch he often dozes on the sofa for a while.
